About USA Dance
USA Dance is an organization which promotes both the social and the competitive aspects of Ballroom Dancing among amateur dancers. As of 2002, USA Dance had 23,000 members in 150 chapters.

The Richmond Chapter holds two regularly scheduled dances each month, as well as special dances from time to time. It also publishes a newsletter with news and information about events of interest to ballroom dancers.

Membership Information
Membership in USA Dance, while not required to attend Chapter-sponsored dances, does gain you admission at a reduced rate. Members also receive the Chapter newsletter, Line of Dance, and Amateur Dancers, a monthly publication put out by the National USA Dance organization.
